Quality control for handbags should start before the final carton is packed. Buyers and suppliers need a clear standard for material, stitching, hardware, logo, lining, shape, packing, and shipment details.
Check material and color first
Material texture, thickness, color consistency, lining, zipper tape, and hardware finish should match the approved sample or approved material card. Color issues are harder to solve after production is finished.
Review stitching and construction
Check stitch density, seam alignment, edge finishing, handle attachment, strap strength, bottom structure, flap shape, zipper movement, and inner pocket position. These details affect the buyer's first impression.
Confirm logo and hardware
Logo position, logo color, embossing pressure, metal plate finish, zipper puller, buckle, chain, snap button, and magnetic closure should be checked against the approved sample.
Inspect lining and inside details
Inside the bag, check lining cleanliness, pocket sewing, zipper function, labels, loose threads, glue marks, and any barcode or care label requirements. Many customer complaints come from small inside details.
Verify packing and carton marks
Before shipment, confirm dust bag, polybag, tissue paper, hangtag, barcode label, carton quantity, carton mark, packing list, and shipping documents. Good packing reduces damage and warehouse problems.
